Ovation opens with Stages 1 and 2. The stages after Encore open as our first students get there, and each one gets its full page, prices included, when it does.
The full pathway
Where Encore leads
Every student starts in Stage 1 or 2. Here is what comes after, in order.
Stage 3 · Books 5–8
Artist
A classical core with one style module in each book, taught in a weekly private lesson plus a group lab.
- Reading, touch and two-voice playing
- A module each book, from Worship Keys to Jazz
- An Artist recital to finish
Stage 4 · Books 9–12
Specialist
Choose a path and go deep, with classical study and music direction in every path.
- Stage & Band

- Songwriter & Producer, or Classical & Concert
Stage 5 · ages 15–18
The Ovation Fellowship
Two funded years for serious teen players, run by The Randle Institute of Music, a nonprofit, toward the Ovation Diploma in Keyboard Performance.
- Selective, by audition
- Tuition waived, with stipends and paid teaching work
- Ends with a diploma recital
Stage 5 · 15 and up
The Ovation Artist Certificate
Two years for players 15 and up, adults included, after Specialist.
- Performance, Teaching or College & Conservatory Prep
- Conducting & Music Direction
- Open to adults
