Ages 8–10 · after Junior Debut
Junior Encore
Junior Books 2, 3 and 4: both hands together, the four-chord family, left-hand patterns and a first new key. Thirty-six 45-minute small-group classes, usually about nine months, with a showcase at the end of every book.
Where this fits: after Junior Debut. Then a quick skills check places juniors in the main books.
Who it's for
Juniors who finished Junior Debut (Junior Book 1) and are still 8 to 10. Children who start at 8 usually spend about a year in the Junior Books before joining the main books, but they move up when they master each book, not when the calendar says so.
